“From the oceans surrounding it to the mountains dividing it, this land is home to some of the world’s most powerful landscapes. Whether urban, rural, or suburban, landscapes are always changing. Following submission guidelines, entries were open to all original media depicting a landscape from the Americas (North America, Hawaii, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America). Entries representing 27 states, including Washington, DC, totaled 630 artworks by 193 artists. Selections for exhibition by the juror are 61 works by
56 artists.
