This artwork was 10 years in the making. The house has been 2 different colors of green, 2 yellows, some purple, red, and finally black. The details in this piece of art became much more pronounced when I painted it black. I was especially impressed with black paint, when the roses on the front door wreath leaped out into view.
It definitely evolved and bloomed into what you see now.
